ONE BARN, ONE BUILD
June 23, 2017
Built in the late 1800’s, the Smith Barn, was once at the center of the family’s booming apple orchard in Friend, Oregon. Part of a series of structures constructed by a notorious builder in the region named “Cactus”, the barn showcases a distinct high plains flamed patina on the exterior siding that makes the material an ideal candidate for custom wall cladding. This package of Reclaimed Heritage Lumber by Salvage Works includes Ponderosa Pine traditional Dutch Lap Siding, textured 1 x12 siding with strapping patterns and dimensional interior beam stock.
