RECLAIMED WOOD INTERIORS

JOURNAL

June 23, 2017

Nothing brings warmth and character to a space like reclaimed wood. A new build out is a blank canvas, ready to be personalized. Whether it’s accent walls, a live edge slab bar top or reclaimed wood desks, Salvage Works has the material and craftsmanship to bring that new space to life. Reclaimed wood can also give an existing space a fresh look. We’ve helped restaurateurs, professionals and contractors bring depth and vitality to commercial spaces.

What’s your style? No matter your aesthetic, we have a look for you.

Hip and modern: Marmoset Build Out by Akos Construction

Everyone wants to work at Marmoset, built by Akos Construction. Salvage Works material can be seen everywhere you turn, but it’s not overwhelming. It showcases an easy style and design innovation in a modern way.

Warm and inviting: Jacknife

Craft cocktail anyone? The lovely Jacknife in the Sentinel Hotel has an old school warmth, highlighted by the honey tones in the WOW wall cladding used there.

Upscale and contemporary: Coava Coffee Roasters

Custom metal fabricators Hold Fast built this beautiful coffee bar in the new Coava Coffee Roastery. The bold metal, paired with the warm wood, creates a sleek look.

Cool and funky: Bollywood Theater

This popular Portland eatery celebrates all things Indian, including the iconic Hindu blue color. Salvage Works made the reclaimed wood tables and the owners added the blue to the tops, then finished them. They are lovely!

Natural and unaffected: Cider Riot

There’s nothing pretentious about the Cider Riot tasting room. Its natural look is a compliment to the crispness of the home brewed cider made there.
